Bride/Bridegroom

The Trial of Your Soul

I’d like to ask each of you to read this through to the end.  Although the Lord’s given warning of impending trouble, He’s also giving us instructions on how to prepare.  I pray each of us will spend time in prayer over this message to receive strength and encouragement for the days ahead.

In the last post, I shared a vision/word given by the Lord warning His people:

Veer Off! Veer Off!”

“Veer off this road!  They are heading for destruction!”

If you haven’t already, I encourage you to read that message before proceeding.  He’d shown me a tiny exit ramp which veered off to the left of the wide path the world is currently on.  Realizing I was unable to see where it led, I’d hesitated exiting onto the ramp.  At that moment God said,

“This is uncharted territory.”

“Enter by the narrow gate. For wide is the way that leads to destruction.”

Saints, God’s calling upon His people to come out from this world NOW!  Except for possibly a few individuals throughout history, what He’s calling upon us to do as a group has never been done before.

As previously mentioned, the Israelites didn’t enter His rest, because they never ceased from their own works.  Paul said there remains a rest for the people of God! (Heb. 4:8-10) He’s calling upon us to enter HIS REST!

One evening about a week after posting the afore-mentioned article, I had a very restless night.  There was an intense struggle, or wrestling, going on as I slept.  I kept hearing the Holy Spirit say,

“This is the Trial of Your Soul.”

The wrestling was my flesh warring against my spirit.  It was as if arguments in a court case were being presented before God.  The amazing thing is that the verdict/sentence in this “court case” had already been given.  The following verses were among several spoken to me:

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that we should no longer serve sin.” (Rom. 6:6)

For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” (Rom. 8:13)

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.” (Gal. 2:20)

(emphasis added)

With the verdict and sentence in place, the case was then handed over to me.  I understood it was up to me to decide how sentencing was to be carried out.  Would I choose to live according to my flesh and die, or by the Spirit and live?  This scenario played out over and over throughout the night.

Upon awakening, God made it clear the Body of Christ is being called upon to enter the rest of God.  The Lord’s telling us in advance the path leading to His rest is “UNCHARTED TERRITORY!”

God’s calling upon His people to walk by Faith – no longer by our physical sight.  It won’t make sense to your flesh – your physical senses – if God calls you to veer unto an unknown path away from friends, family, church; away from food, clothing, and the provision this world may offer.

As the fabric of this fallen world begins to crumble, each will face a time of decision like never before; you must decide if you truly believe God.  Jesus said, “If you can believe, all things are possible to Him who believes.”  Over and over He told the people, “Fear not, only believe.”

Within the last several years I’ve had the following words spoken to me at various times.  The Lord’s instructed me to speak these words to His Remnant:

“Your faith will be stretched beyond what you could ever imagine.”

“To do what I have called you to do, you must believe in the miraculous!”

“My Sceptre is being extended to you, but you must reach out to take hold.”

Saints, once you’ve chosen to believe God and begin walking by faith, according to the ways of the Spirit, you’ll have entered His Rest.  The Lord gave me ‘A Glimpse of Glory’ to show what it will be like during that brief time the Bride of Christ walks the earth in His fullness.  Nothing in this world will be able to move Her!  I highly recommend reading (or rereading) that post to more fully understand what’s just ahead of us.

Please pray!

Personal Note:

Just before 3:00 am the morning of November 29th, the Lord woke me up with an announcement.  He spoke two sentences that shook me to the core.   Now I understand even more the messages He’s been giving most recently – all to prepare Her for what is now at our doorstep!  I’ve been shown I’m to post this message shortly.

Scripture Reference:

2 Timothy 3:1-5, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous… blasphemers… unholy…having a form of Godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

Hebrews 4:9-10, “There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.  For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did form His.”

2 Corinthians 5:7, “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”

Zechariah 4:6, “…Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.”

Mark 9:23, Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to Him who believes.”

Matthew 9:28-29, “…and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” …Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be to you.”

Mark 5:36, “But Jesus…said to Jairus, ‘Do not fear, only believe.”

Romans 8:5-8, “For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.  For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.  So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”

Deuteronomy 30:19, “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.”

Yes…surely Scripture is warning us for this time … some of us have also been experiencing the effects of what is described here … knowing that persecution is also the “manifest token” that counts us worthy to escape.

Diana, I have read this posting and the previous one many times trying to absorb it all. There is so much in them. Thank you for sharing these wonderful words. Based on my own studying and pondering Scripture, this is what I think. Each of us must make a conscious decision to choose Almighty God and His Kingdom. We then enter in through Jesus – and are covered in His Precious, Powerful, Life-giving Blood. Holy Spirit then begins the task of transforming us into the image of the Most High God. Our job is to submit to that transformation. If… Read more »

Diana, thank you so much for your ‘never give up’ attitude! And yes, I too have felt so much that surely He’s displeased with me ( but God) would always bring me back to Himself. It was as if He would allow those testings and trials , sometimes so much so I’ve felt like Job who said, Job 42:5 “I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee. V6- Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes” We who have been through the fires 🔥 now realize the truth of… Read more »

Amen! The righteous will live by Faith! Faith that is “energized” through Agape, Gal 5:6. It’s our Agape relationship with Him that builds, energizes, power-ups our Faith in Him. That Faith pleases Him, Heb 11:6.

I had a bizarre but enlightening dream about the way of the world a while back. While I have almost all I need for now, I have nothing set aside to financially secure the future and as I am nearing the end of my work life, it was weighing heavily on me, thinking I need to save money somehow but knowing I wont be able to and were looking into different ways to do it. Then I got the dream which I believe God showed me the danger of following man’s ways and words. In the dream I saw the… Read more »

This message thrills my soul!! It confirms the unprecedented and hardest situation the Lord has ever placed us in on this, the final stretch of our journey to “His Rest”. We have never experienced anything like this, and The Trial of Our Soul describes it perfectly because what we are experiencing now truly IS UNCHARTED TERRITORY. We have provision, but absolutely have been totally separated from friends, family, church. And our faith truly is being stretched beyond anything I ever dreamed I could endure. But just when I think I can endure no more, the joy set before us makes… Read more »

Oh my, such a true word. I have wanted to quit, to step down as a watchman…but I know that is my flesh speaking. I asked the Lord once if I could take a month off from posting on my website and He said! “Your life is not your own.” No matter what, we cannot disobey. That means the enemy wins and I HATE to think he can gloat over a watchman giving up. We are tied to Christ in so many ways, we’ve not come this far just to quit. No matter what. Many of us have been put… Read more »
