Praise Reports

The Israelites were instructed to rehearse the wonders God had done for them (Deut. 11:1-19). Throughout scripture, we’re instructed to speak continually of the good things the Lord has done.

“Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful to Him, and bless His name” (Psalms 100:4).

Remembering the wonders of what God has already done in our lives is critical when going through tests and trials. It reminds us of the faithfulness of the Lord, that He will never leave us nor forsake us. When we share praise reports, it also encourages those around us – especially the next generation!

  1. Oh my goodness! Where do I start! HE amazes me everyday and I love HIM so much! So many mini-miracles to count but this is one of my favorites. In 2015, I got lost on an old logging trail in the Sierra Nevada Mts. As the road narrowed and I climbed over huge rocks in my elderly 2 wheel drive truck, I started to panic as I crept dangerously close to the edge of the cliff that had about a 1,000 ft drop. I stopped the truck, rebuked the devil and sent him packing and said, “Jesus, I am so sorry for being in doubt, You have got me through everything in my life, you will bring me through this too!” I turned on some music and started praising HIM and put the truck back in gear and crept forward. A minute later, HE sent a swarm of orange butterflies to me and they surrounded my vehicle and I felt HIS presence so strong that tears started pouring down my face. As I crept forward, I saw a fork in the road in front of me but I couldn’t see the road to the right. I thought “I wonder which way to go?” As soon as I turned the corner, I saw a 25-30 ft. line of butterflies all facing the same direction about 1 foot apart. They where lined up that way on the “right” road all flapping their wings in unison as if to say, “This WAY!” I was so full of joy that I was praising, crying and laughing all at the same time. Of course, I took that road and the butterflies having finished there mission, stayed behind. Not hard to imagine that those flapping wings were saying good bye! Needless to say, it was the “right road”, trusting in Jesus for everything especially through your trials is ALWAYS the right road!

    • Cathy,
That is awesome! And for God to use butterflies to show the way! He is so amazing. I feel the same way when thinking about the miraculous things that have happened through the years, “Where do I start?” We should all begin to share such events as the Lord leads. This is so encouraging – thank you for sharing this beautiful intervention of God!

    • may God bless you, Hope!
Your prayers were very helpful, I can’t thank you enough.
God is moving in a mighty way these days.
There is so much going to happen as God is giving a great shaking to the world.
I get so thrilled that in the midst of all the troubles we face, God still makes miracles for His children.
He prepares a table before us in the presence of our enemies.
The Lord knows how to deliver His people.
We can confidently trust Him even in the hardest days!
      God is the faithful One!

    • Life has not been friendly but with the Lord by my side His strength pulled me through many trials and tribulations….neglect, abuse, rejection, hatred, sickness, divorce, pain etc.

He also, very gently, through dreams, words and prayer showed me techniques and strategies to let things go so that my soul could heal. His spirit in us is much greater than he who is in the world but also stronger than the soul…the mind, will and emotions, so we can be lead and shepherded by the spirit if we are willing.

In losing everything and standing, or rather laying, at the door of death (multiple time) I learned to surrender, let go and finally trust my Creator and first love. I gained a more intimate relationship that conquered pride and my rebellious spirit. Every day is still a battle but now I walk from victory with joy knowing a greater purpose.

I’ve learned Pappa God is everywhere, at all times, and in everything and that nothing is random. He works all things for my good and trims and prunes me to flourish me so that I look more like Jesus (as in the fruits of the spirit) I was born, planned and established, for such a time as this. He has plans and purpose for each of our lives.

For those filled with the spirit, He also reveals hidden treasures and since 2004 I have been on a treasure hunt with Him discovering many delightful secrets of time, character, signs, numbers, and miracles. I am a walking miracle because, thanks to God teaching me good health, I am healed of chrones disease. He has taught me the importance of food, exercise, destressing….but most importantly to speak words of life! Singing, praising and exalting our most holy, gracious God is vital. And I’m talking about the one and only true God….Father/Son/Holy Spirit who came to this world fully man and fully God, to save us from our sins. He is mighty and great! He is gracious, merciful and ruler of justice.
      That’s my dad!!!

Thank you for the opportunity to share some of my testimony.

      • Yolanda,
Awesome testimony! I identify with the trials and tribulations you describe, as well as finally letting go to trust my Creator and first love. Beautiful testimony – very encouraging!
        God bless you, Precious One!

  2. I want to thank the Lord for bringing me through what seemed to be insurmountable obstacles since 2007. This journey has been very difficult mentally, physically, and spiritually. But through the many generous prayers and support of friends and family, the Lord in His mercy answered and made a way where there seemed to be no way.

On August 2, 2019, I made my final presentation, completing my doctorate degree in Environmental Microbiology! There is so much to this story, but God knows all He did, and all Praise and Glory go to Him!

I’d like to encourage everyone; WHATEVER you may be going through right now – the LORD is much BIGGER than that mountain standing in front of you! Go before Him, and let your requests be made known to God, for He cares for you! Psalms 18
