In the early morning hours of December 12, 2017, I awakened hearing the words, “The Division.” After hearing it several times and feeling a deep heaviness in my spirit, I grabbed a pad and wrote the words at the top of the page.
As I sat there looking at the words, I saw a vision:
Faces of various people began flashing across the page. They all had big smiles, appearing very happy and content. But as I saw the happy faces, my heart ached, and I felt much sorrow. The sorrow was so intense that tears began to flow, and I asked, “What is it, Lord? What is this?”
I immediately heard in my spirit,
“A man’s enemies will be they of his own household.”
“They will think they are doing God a favor when they cast you out or kill you.”
“Do not be surprised by the fiery trial which is to try you!”
End of Vision/Word
The Lord immediately brought to mind a word He had given back in May saying, “I place before you a New Door. I bid you come! Many will not come through this door for fear of what lies beyond.”
Shortly thereafter, He gave a message about how the Church will no longer be able to do business as usual, that we are to walk in an entirely New Way (see ‘This Is A New Way’). To walk in this New Way, each Saint must have their eyes fastened entirely upon the Lord, listening exclusively to the Holy Spirit to receive instructions for their next steps. They will walk as Jesus walked, only saying what they hear the Father say, and doing as they see Him do.
I believe if we look at how Jesus interacted with the religious people of His day, it becomes obvious how fear will keep many from stepping through this New Door! He turned over the money changers tables, he called the “church” of his day: blind guides, fools, white washed tombs, serpents, vipers, and hypocrites! I’m pretty sure He’d be saying the same today. Just as Jesus ruffled the feathers of the religious elites of His day, so will His Bride – the ones who step through this New Door and begin walking this New Way!
When the Lord told me our enemies will be those of our own household, He impressed upon me that our number one enemy in the days ahead will be those we now look upon as our “brothers and sisters” in the “household of faith.” They will be the first to cast you out or kill you!
Saints, this New Way will indeed strike fear into the hearts of many. The Division coming will be like nothing seen since the days of the early church – this time on a much larger scale.
To walk in this New Way, we must fasten their eyes upon Him, allowing the Holy Spirit direct every step and speak through our mouths. No more compromising the Word of God, sugar-coating it to appease the masses.
Pastors, what if speaking the truth of God offends people? What if your attendance numbers decline? And the granddaddy of all fears – what if the revenues of the church begin to suffer?
To walk in this New Way, every Saint – whether pastor or lay member – will need to count the costs. If it comes down to it, are you prepared to sacrifice everything?
Are you prepared to lose your family when, one-by-one, they turn and walk away from you because they think you’ve lost your mind?
Most of those you now consider a brother or sister in Christ will not be coming through this New Door with you. As you know all too well, in the natural, your flesh will do whatever it can to avoid being even the least bit uncomfortable. So, the fear of what lies beyond will keep most from entering in. Be prepared to go it alone!
Saints, get ready! The Division has already begun. The Lord has impressed upon my spirit that more and more of His Saints are now accepting Jesus’ invitation to come through this door. As world events escalate and calamities begin, more decisions will be made. The Division is soon to explode!
The Lord doesn’t want any of us confused or surprised by the fiery trial which will try every one of us. Jesus said he that seeks to save his life will lose it, and he that loses his life for His sake, the same will save it.
A few years ago, the Holy Spirit told me:
“You will be a laughing-stock, but the laughter will be short-lived!”
I keep seeing all the happy faces that were flashed before me when I was given this message. It grieves me to think about the sorrow that will soon replace many of those smiles. But we must remember that, for the hope set before Him, Jesus endured the cross – and so must we.
Even though we may become a “laughing-stock,” it will be but for a brief moment. Let me close with an excerpt from ‘You Will Be My Instruments of Righteousness!’
“The Bride is being called, chosen, and purified. She is being transformed into His likeness. At the appointed time, her transformation will be completed, and She will go forth in His Fullness. In the power and authority given her by the Bridegroom, the Bride will burst through the cracks forming in Satan’s kingdom of darkness, splitting it wide open. She’ll enter into the enemy’s camps and territories, bind the strongman, and set captives free!
As the Bride stretches forth Her hands to be used as His Instruments of Righteousness, the biggest rescue mission in the history of mankind will take place. What a time to be alive!”
Please take what has been shared before the Lord in prayer.
