In the post entitled, ‘Will You Make the Cut?,’ I shared the Lord had called me aside to spend time alone with Him, and how during this two week period, I found myself in a battle like nothing I’d ever experienced.  I recommend reading the original post before proceeding.

I ended up succumbing to my flesh and returning home before being released of God to do so.  The next morning I awakened to hear the Lord say:

“Will You Make the Cut?”

In December, 2017, I was shown the Lord is raising a wall of partition (see The Dividing Line) in His Temple – the Body of Christ.  This dividing line will separate and make manifest the remnant of God, and the very Bride of Christ will be brought forth!

As soon as the Lord asked me this question, He immediately began to show the various ploys and tactics the enemy will use against the Body of Christ as the Dividing Line is drawn and the Bride separated for her final cleansing and purification.  God also revealed the reason for Satan’s fear of this division or “Cut” as the Lord called it.

The partition being raised within the Temple will separate those of the covenant of the Spirit from those of the covenant of the flesh.  God spoke of a time when He would circumcise our hearts (Deut. 30:6).  The act of circumcision signifies the cutting away of “the flesh,” our great enemy, so that we might walk by the Spirit of God (Gal. 5:17; Rom. 8:6-8).

Satan will do everything he can to keep each one of us from making the cut!  I was told in December:

 “Everything not of Me will fall.  Their idols will be swept away!”

The enemy’s goal is to dethrone God.  His main tool is to set up idols, which may include: relationships, jobs, possessions, financial/social status, etc.; things that if suddenly removed, could rock your world!

Once you’ve given the Lord permission to finish the work He has begun in you, anything of the flesh and set up apart from Him must fall.  One by one, your idols will be exposed and removed.  I can tell you by experience this circumcision of the heart, this cutting away of the flesh, is very painful, and your flesh will scream out in agony.  The most painful for me has been the cutting away of relationships.   Whether it is family, friends, or “church” fellowships, there are people in your life right now that will be cut off.

But it really doesn’t matter which idol is being removed, the devil will do whatever he can TO KEEP YOU OPERATING IN THE FLESH!   Not only will those thoughts of the flesh (loneliness, rejection, self pity) be amplified and broadcast to you, but the enemy will also attempt to use the very Word of God against you – just as he did with Jesus, twisting the spiritual intent of scripture.

The battles ahead will be like nothing we’ve experienced.  They will be intense and fierce, meant to take our eyes off the things of the Spirit, focusing instead on the needs of our flesh, which always leads to fear and unbelief.  The enemy knows if he can keep the Saints from operating in the Spirit, their communion with the Father will be severed!  But what God is doing now is striking much fear into the camp of the enemy.

As mentioned, the Lord is erecting a wall of partition which will separate and make manifest the remnant of God, and the very Bride of Christ will soon be brought forth!   As She is separated for her final cleansing and purification, all remaining flesh will be cut away.  In order for this to be possible, she must completely submit her WILL to the Father in complete obedience!

This is what Satan fears.  He knows once the Bride rejects the demands of the flesh and submits her will in total obedience to the Father, he’ll have no weapon left to use against her.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled (2 Cor. 10:5-6).

Just as it was with Jesus, so it is with His Bride.  It’s about our total obedience to the will of the Father!  The Bride is being called, chosen, separated, and purified.  She is being transformed into His likeness.  Once Her obedience is fulfilled, in the power and authority given her by the Bridegroom, She will be used to punish all disobedience (see You Will Be My Instruments of Righteousness!).

In summary: This is why the devil is terrified and will do all he can to keep you from “making the cut.” But our God is faithful to show us in advance the schemes of the enemy.

God willing, within the next week or so, I’ll post what the Lord has shown recently about how, just as with our Bridegroom,  ALL the power of darkness tried to stop Him from rising from the dead,  so with they attempt to stop the Bride…
