Bride/Bridegroom

“You Are Precious in My Sight!”

The Lord has shown that many in the Body of Christ are in the midst of “death throes.”  I pray what I’m about to share might encourage some going through a time of deep emptiness and sorrow.

As discussed in the last two posts, Jesus is beckoning His Bride to “Come to The Garden” for intimate communion with Him and the Father.  The Lord told me, “My people will go to the Garden by way of the Cross.  The path that leads to the Inner Sanctuary first goes through Gethsemane!”

To commune with Jesus, His Bride must drink from His cup!  As entrance to The Garden, that Most Holy of Holies, is obtained through death, the Bride enters as a dead woman, her life poured out as a drink offering before Him.

Although this will look different for each of us, the general process is the same.  The following is something I experienced recently that shook me to my core:

During the first part of November, 2018, I was staggered as the full impact of what God was asking of the Bride settled into my spirit.   One night, my whole being began to shake and convulse as I felt I was nowhere near the mark to receive the prize of the high calling of God.

The fear of the Lord came over me as I was given a glimpse of my current state.  A feeling of incredible weakness overwhelmed me, to the point it was even difficult to breath.  I verbally acknowledged to God that I knew I had nothing to offer Him.  As I spoke these words, I felt a deep emptiness within.

With nothing left, my strength far spent, I fell to my knees and began to weep.  Sorrow filled my heart as I thought about how disappointed God must be with me.  Could it be that, after all the years I’d been serving Him, I might end up a cast away?  I prayed with many tears before I went to bed the night of November 13th.

Sometime during the night, I began hearing a “conversation” going on in the Spirit.  Over and over I heard the Father saying to Jesus,

“I have given her to You.  She is a Treasure.  She is Your Inheritance, and She is Precious in My Sight!”

About half way through the night the conversation changed, and the Lord began speaking directly to me, saying:

“You are a Treasure to Me!  You are My Inheritance!  You are Precious in My Sight!”

I awoke the next morning in a state of peace, joy, and a feeling of lightness.  It was as if every burden in the world had been lifted from my shoulders.

The Lord immediately began to show me that, as the idols and high places in our lives are brought down during the purification process, there’s a transition period which takes place.  As tentacles attaching us to this world are severed, we eventually find ourselves stripped naked and bare before Him.  What God showed me that night was my true state – without Him

We can do absolutely NOTHING of our own selves.  We are useless and dead without our God.

Saints, this is exactly the place God wants each of us to come to! For it’s not until we come to the end of ourselves, dead to our flesh and everything this world has to offer, that we can finally be useful to Him.  The Word says,

“Precious in the eyes of the LORD is the death of His Saints!”

The Lord has shown it’s only when His Bride enters into His presence empty that she may be filled.  Only then may she be resurrected from that place of death, filled with His Glory, and seated together with Him in heavenly places.

Those of you experiencing such times as noted above, please be encouraged.  It’s part of the process – the death throes.  Although dying to the flesh is a painful process, the Lord wants you to know, when you are at your weakest point:

“You are a Treasure to Me!”

“You are My Inheritance!”

“You are Precious in My Sight!”

Personal Note:

God has kept me in a place of silence for a time to hear from Him more clearly.  I want to share the following because it’s very much related to the above message.

The Lord continues to impress upon me how critical a time this is for the Saints.  Forces are being gathered and prepared – on both sides – for the greatest battle of all times.

The Lord’s grieved by all the clamor in the camps of those claiming to be His.  Instead of fastening our eyes upon God, our attention is focused upon the plans of the enemy and all he has going on – whether it be on the world scene, our families, or our own flesh!  THIS MUST CEASE!

Saints, how are you preparing your heart for the days ahead?  It’s time to enter your closet in prayer and fasting before God, because Jesus warned certain higher-level devils cannot be cast out without such.  Our battle will not be against flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and spiritual forces in the heavenly realms.  Are you ready?

Jesus defeated the devil because He was able to say, “He has nothing in Me.” One morning a few weeks ago, the Lord asked me,

“Can you say, “He has nothing in me”?

This is very heavy on my heart, so God willing, more will be shared in an upcoming post.

Please take all presented here before the Lord in prayer for confirmation and interpretation as to how this may apply to you personally.

Scripture References:

2 Corinthians 12:9-10, “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.  Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake.  For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

Psalms 116:15, “Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of His saints.”

1 Corinthians 9:27, “But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection; lest when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”

Philippians 3:14, “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Jesus Christ.”

Deuteronomy 32:8-9, “…For the LORD’s portion is His people…”

Ephesians 1:18, “…that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe.”

Ephesians 6:12, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.”

Wow, I can relate to your messages above and thank you for them. Have been wondering what’s going on with me, feeling distant, struggling, dry. Have been a Christian for over 30 years but not where I should be. Seems to be a time of self-examination, where are we in the faith and in purity? God help us.

Hi Sister Diana, this is still Hannah (BelovedHannah). I also wanted to say your posts are very encouraging. I love seeing this side of intimacy with Christ. These mainstream churches speak of a surface intimacy that’s boring and old. But, what you speak of is true intimacy. I simply love it.

Hi Sister Diana,
God bless you! I pray you are doing well and it’s nice to see you post again! You are truly precious is His sight and in mine, too. May you continue to walk this straight and narrow path into His glory! See you in Heaven one day!
Love,
Hannah

Dear Diana,

I read over this a few times and there are about 10 points in it that were already given to me. What a confirmation! Thank you so much for posting this. Even though it can be a difficult journey, I always think of the quote: “You will never reach your goal if you never set one.”

If our goal is to be that emptied-out bride of Jesus, we will do what it takes to achieve it.

Dearest Diana,
I have prayed the very thorough prayer written by Julie Whedbee, but I have a question about it: Is it scriptural to break and smash spirits? I felt uneasy in doing this, so if you would kindly give scriptural back up for it, I would appreciate it very much.
Thank you for caring for the body of Christ and providing so much that blesses and edifies us.
Praising God for you and your ministry🌟,
Michele

For those who may not have seen it the Lord has just given Julie Whedbee an extraordinary spiritual warfare prayer that is really effective against satan’s attacks on the Saints right now. I have been saying it everyday and it is indeed powerful. Julie’s website is

Dear Diana, Watchman Nee in his book “The Spiritual Man” wrote something that I think ties in with your message. He stated that an obedient will is not the same as a harmonious one, … that nonresistance does not necessarily mean self-will has been conquered. In other words, obeying but still wanting what WE want falls short of the perfect will of God being done. I want to share a short allegory I was recently given that I hope will encourage those who are going through their time of final death-blows to the rule of “self-will”. “Liable” bewailed herself. She… Read more »

Responding Renu and Elijah: God is such a good God that He takes us through this at a pace we can handle, taking us to the next step in the journey when we are ready. At times it seems like we are at the end of our strength, but that is when He steps in and gives us His strength. I have learned to embrace what Paul say in 2 Corinthians 12: 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my… Read more »

Thank you for this post, Diana, I am really in that state now, to the point that I was asking GOD, what I was doing wrong, I think I have been focusing on the issues not Him, even in my prayers. I will take this to the LORD as suggested. Ayoola

Diana: The Lord has had me on a path very much as you describe. Sunday, 2/17/2018, I listened to a sermon given by David Sliker at IHOPKC – The Glory of Fascination and Friendship with Jesus, Part 2. The sermon spoke to me where I am at in challenging me to now levels of dying to self. It touched me to the point of bringing tears to my eyes at various times during his sermon. Afterwards I prayed and heard this from the Lord. “I love you with an everlasting love. Pick up your cross and follow me. This is… Read more »
