The purpose of this post is to expose a very sacred cow of the Christian community.  Most believe when an incorrigibly wicked human dies; those who have chosen not to receive salvation offered through the blood atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ will spend eternity being tortured in “hell.” 

It is believed these wicked humans will spend eternity in a never-ending state of being tormented and punished.  It is widely taught that God created man with an eternal spirit that cannot die.   But what does the written Word of God have to say about this?
