I was brought up in the church during the 50s-70s, providing a solid, foundational understanding of God's Word. On May 6, 1973, I "formalized" my salvation in Jesus Christ at a David Wilkerson crusade. Towards the end of June, 1973, at a week long Bible camp, I was baptized in the Holy Spirit through the "laying on of hands", in which my private prayer language would not come forth till a year later. The "baptism in the Holy Spirit" was necessary, for what God would reveal to me over the decades since, weaving in-and-out of many "rabbit holes" of topics and understandings, and discovering the "mysteries" embedded in His Word, ultimately leading to .. "Angel Wars: Fallen As Lightning"!
