Bride/Bridegroom

The Proposal

wedding-dresses-1486260__340

The night of June 12th, 2017, at 1:00 am in the morning, I was suddenly awakened.  I sensed the Lord had something to say or show me, so I asked, “What, Lord?”  Immediately, I heard the name, “William.”

I’d went to bed with a lot on my mind. William, a dear brother in the Lord, had spoken to me the previous afternoon about what the Lord had revealed concerning the call of God on my life.  Before we got off the phone, he’d said, “Take what I’ve told you before Him in prayer.” So I’d fervently prayed for more revelation before retiring.

As soon as I heard the name, “William,” I remembered he was supposed to send some emails containing dreams, words, and visions given to him by the Lord beginning quite a few years ago.  So with the lights still out, I reached across the night stand to get my phone.  Sure enough, there were 6 or 7 emails with various titles, but for some reason one in particular stood out.

What hit me was not only the powerful words of judgment coming against the snakes and vipers, who have scattered the sheep, but the Love the Lord has for His TRUE sheep, and the difference He’s going to make between His and the arrogant/rebellious ones.  I began to weep and cry out to the Lord, repenting on behalf of the church.  In the midst of this, I felt Him beckoning me to come and be alone with Him.  I then rolled over, off the bed, onto my knees.

The Lord began to ask me several questions, one being whether I’d leave my family for Him.  I said, “Yes, Lord, you know I would.”  He then began to impart into my spirit that what William had told me about my calling was correct, and asked if I accepted it.  I answered, “Yes, I will do whatever you ask.”  There was much more, but what happened next is what’s burned into my spirit:

After about 20 minutes of communing with Him about these things, a great peace came over me, and I rose to my feet.  As I stood up, I knew I was the Church.  It was as if my body represented the “whole” Bride of Christ.  I turned and sat down on the edge of the bed.  As I sat down, I saw a figure of a man kneel down before me as one does when he’s proposing marriage.  The man was dressed in what appeared to be a white tuxedo. I knew the man (Jesus) was proposing to the Church!  Although I hadn’t turned any lights on, and the room was still dark, the outline of the man was slightly illuminated so I could see what was happening.  The man said,

“You are My beloved!”

Will you be My Bride?”

I was somehow able to utter the word, “Yes.” Then he immediately vanished, and was gone as quickly as he’d arrived.

After a few minutes of trying to absorb what had just happened, I laid back down on the bed.  Then several words and images were imparted to me that I cannot talk about for the time being.  I was finally able to doze off sometime before my alarm went off.

When I got up, and as soon as my feet hit the floor, I heard the following, as if someone were standing right beside me giving instructions:

“Prepare yourself for Him!”

This was said to me three times in quick succession, then on several other occasions the rest of the day.

Interpretation:

Please take what’s been shared before the Lord in prayer.  He’s asking the question,

Will you be My Bride?”

Brethren, if your answer is, “Yes,” then you must “Prepare yourself for Him!”

Scripture Reference:

1 Peter 4:17, “The the time has come that judgment must begin at the house of God…”

Luke 21:36, “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.”

Ephesians 5:25-27, “…just as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.”

Matthew 25:1-13, “The kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.  Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.  Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.  But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.  And at midnight a cry was heard:  ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’…and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut…”

Dear Diana, thank you for sharing this powerful & intimate moment with the Lord. Years ago my son & I wrote a series of books: Messiah Proposes, The Becoming Bride, The Faithful Wife and The Mother of Us All. It goes well beyond the Bride of Jesus, The Body & The Church. She doesn’t take on a surrogate husband while He’s away. (That’s Baal & the old priesthood, rabbis, pastors, guru’s etc. Jesus proposed to you. He singles out those willing to die to bring forth much fruit. Like Moses she delivers the children of true Israel. These are her… Read more »

One of my daughters sent this to me. I have not been a recipient of your messages. When I read it I was astonished. This very morning the Lord told me He would soon judge false prophets and false teachers and gave me some instructions for the future.
Please send future messages to me.

I am a man whom God literally YANKED out of institutional christianity. I would be very interested in reading the rest of William’s words from our Loving Saviour. Is that possible? Is it possible to obtain them to read and pray over?

Diana, yes, yes and again, yes. I will be the bride of our Savior. A few nights ago, I was convicted that, for a bride, the wedding is the one event she prepares for and plans for her whole life. We, as man and woman, are one in Him, and thus are preparing for the wedding event of eternity, the single greatest event I believe that we will be talking about for thousands and thousands of years into the future. My one question here is? Has anyone purchased some film for that camera so we can show off our wedding… Read more »

I’m convicted of the same – judgment has begun at the house of God. And it exactly matches the timing I’ve been impressed with. The Groom is proposing/has proposed. I’m about speechless. I’ll be interested in hearing more as the Spirit directs you to release it.

Hello, miss Pulliam. Please help Join me in prayer to the Lord to loose the bonds of the enemy on my life and the lives of my family members (brothers, sisters and Dad) and use us as vessels of honor for his kingdom.
Thank God for what He’s doing in your life.
May the Lord God almighty bless and continue to guide and lead you, in Jesus name, Amen.

Diana, Thank you for sharing that powerful experience with Jesus! After reading this I reading your post I said to Jesus “Yes, I will be your bride.” (pay attention men!) I then heard in my spirit ” Come away with Me, come away with Me, come away Me.” We need alone time with our bridegroom, intimacy is key! Martha did lots of THINGS for Jesus but Mary sat at His feet and listened to Him. We must spend special time with Him alone or we run the risk of hearing “Depart from Me I never knew you!” The things we… Read more »

Diana,
Thank you for your obedience to our Betrothed and thank you for posting this word. Jesus is not only calling out, but wooing and beckoning with such a longing in his heart for His Beloved. We must truly prepare as He most certainly is coming!
