“Will You Make the Cut?” (Part 2)

Bride (The Cut)

In the post entitled, ‘Will You Make the Cut?,’ I shared the Lord had called me aside to spend time alone with Him, and how during this two week period, I found myself in a battle like nothing I’d ever experienced.  I recommend reading the original post before proceeding.

I ended up succumbing to my flesh and returning home before being released of God to do so.  The next morning I awakened to hear the Lord say:

“Will You Make the Cut?”

In December, 2017, I was shown the Lord is raising a wall of partition (see The Dividing Line) in His Temple – the Body of Christ.  This dividing line will separate and make manifest the remnant of God, and the very Bride of Christ will be brought forth!

As soon as the Lord asked me this question, He immediately began to show the various ploys and tactics the enemy will use against the Body of Christ as the Dividing Line is drawn and the Bride separated for her final cleansing and purification.  God also revealed the reason for Satan’s fear of this division or “Cut” as the Lord called it.

The partition being raised within the Temple will separate those of the covenant of the Spirit from those of the covenant of the flesh.  God spoke of a time when He would circumcise our hearts (Deut. 30:6).  The act of circumcision signifies the cutting away of “the flesh,” our great enemy, so that we might walk by the Spirit of God (Gal. 5:17; Rom. 8:6-8).

Satan will do everything he can to keep each one of us from making the cut!  I was told in December:

“Everything not of Me will fall.  Their idols will be swept away!”

The enemy’s goal is to dethrone God.  His main tool is to set up idols, which may include: relationships, jobs, possessions, financial/social status, etc.; things that if suddenly removed, could rock your world!

Once you’ve given the Lord permission to finish the work He has begun in you, anything of the flesh and set up apart from Him must fall.  One by one, your idols will be exposed and removed.  I can tell you by experience this circumcision of the heart, this cutting away of the flesh, is very painful, and your flesh will scream out in agony.  The most painful for me has been the cutting away of relationships.   Whether it is family, friends, or “church” fellowships, there are people in your life right now that will be cut off.

But it really doesn’t matter which idol is being removed, the devil will do whatever he can TO KEEP YOU OPERATING IN THE FLESH!   Not only will those thoughts of the flesh (loneliness, rejection, self pity) be amplified and broadcast to you, but the enemy will also attempt to use the very Word of God against you – just as he did with Jesus, twisting the spiritual intent of scripture.

The battles ahead will be like nothing we’ve experienced.  They will be intense and fierce, meant to take our eyes off the things of the Spirit, focusing instead on the needs of our flesh, which always leads to fear and unbelief.  The enemy knows if he can keep the Saints from operating in the Spirit, their communion with the Father will be severed!  But what God is doing now is striking much fear into the camp of the enemy.

As mentioned, the Lord is erecting a wall of partition which will separate and make manifest the remnant of God, and the very Bride of Christ will soon be brought forth!   As She is separated for her final cleansing and purification, all remaining flesh will be cut away.  In order for this to be possible, she must completely submit her WILL to the Father in complete obedience!

This is what Satan fears.  He knows once the Bride rejects the demands of the flesh and submits her will in total obedience to the Father, he’ll have no weapon left to use against her.

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled (2 Cor. 10:5-6).

Just as it was with Jesus, so it is with His Bride.  It’s about our total obedience to the will of the Father!  The Bride is being called, chosen, separated, and purified.  She is being transformed into His likeness.  Once Her obedience is fulfilled, in the power and authority given her by the Bridegroom, She will be used to punish all disobedience (see You Will Be My Instruments of Righteousness!).

In summary: This is why the devil is terrified and will do all he can to keep you from “making the cut.” But our God is faithful to show us in advance the schemes of the enemy.

God willing, within the next week or so, I’ll post what the Lord has shown recently about how, just as with our Bridegroom,  ALL the power of darkness tried to stop Him from rising from the dead,  so with they attempt to stop the Bride…

To Be Continued…

Scripture References:

Hebrews 4:12, “The Word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

Romans 2:28-29, “For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter…”

Deuteronomy 30:6, “And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.”

Romans 2:29, “…Circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter…”

Galations 5:17, “For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another so that you do not do the things that you wish.”

Romans 8:6-8, “For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.  Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.  So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”

  1. Thank you both so much for your encouragement! I sincerely appreciate it and will remind myself again who I am in HIM and shut the enemy out!!!

  2. William’s post was beautiful and put me in tears but the reference to the church of Laodicia scared me. I truly thought I loved the Lord with all my heart and I didn’t realize that I was holding anything back. My childhood was littered with all the forms of abuse that most of us baby boomers fell victim to and I thought the past was behind me but now I realize that it may still be hidden beneath the surface. The thing is, it never really stopped. I still have to deal with emotional abuse on a regular basis as things get darker so do it’s people. He gave me a forgiving and loving nature to begin with so I tend to get hit between the eyes as I just don’t see it coming. I go to HIM regularly in prayer and worship to fill me back up with HIS love, strength and peace. However, this just set me back a bit and I couldn’t help but think, “What if I can’t? Will I be left behind?

    • Cathy,
First, God did not give us a spirit of fear! 2 Timothy 1:7 tells us this! Second, the “fear” and tears which you had truly speaks to the Loving Father of the true condition of your heart and spirit….and this is that you are seeking His will for your life! Yes, unfortunately, too many baby boomers were victims of terrible, unspeakable things. I can testify to this. But….our loving God, the Father, does continue to woo those who have a heart for Him. As you continue to yield up anything that is brought to your spirit from the past, He will accept that from you and begin to release healing to your spirit and your heart! I want to encourage you to continue! Do not stop coming before Him. As a victim myself, I have found that we do bring many things before Him but most of those things are “symptoms” of the abuse which we endured. He removes that and continues to woo us to Him. As we draw closer, His love begins to peel back and lay bare the true root of the problem, whether it be humiliation, guilt, being violated, etc. It is when we are shown that hidden splinter, if you will, that is embedded in our hearts and minds can we be set free. This does take time, as does slowly peeling each layer of an onion. Because of His love for you, He will not rip it out of you, but will lovingly take piece by piece so that restoration can be made!

    • Cathy,
I know exactly what you are talking about. I’d also swept some abuses under the carpet from my teenage and young adult life. It was only after I’d asked God to take everything not of Him, or wasn’t giving Him Glory away from me – and He did, that I realized I hadn’t fully put my trust in Him for ALL things. There were some things I hadn’t let go of, and it was about trying to maintain some measure of “control” or “safe guards” in my life.

But just like William said, our Lord is so good to peel those things away, layer by layer, so as not to harm us even more. Look what He’s just revealed to you!!! So let’s be encouraged in Him and trust Him with all our being. God bless you, Cathy!

  3. The Lord has taken me through a lot this past year and HE used me to witness to many of my brothers and sisters but they are hanging on tightly to their flesh. Myself, I have had great victory over my flesh and the enemy lately but I am very cautious and alert knowing full well that it won’t be over until I am in my true HOME. Just the other night, I dreamed that a bright orange, yellow and black corral snake rapped itself around my neck and before it could even begin to tighten it’s hold, I flicked it off of me with one swift motion of my index finger. It was no more threatening than a pesky fly! However, as that was happening in my dream, my husband was called into intercessory prayer as my beloved dog hid in my husbands armpit. She only does this when there is a demon around. My husband and I are getting stronger every day but the Lord brought up another issue this morning that troubles me. I always pray for a “word of the day” for my husband and I before he leaves for work. He took me to the Song of Songs ch. 1&2 and I immediately slammed the book shut and told my husband that it must be a mistake as this was the “gushy” part of the bible that I have always avoided. He told me to read it anyway and I was
blown away by the parallels regarding the Rose of Sharon and Jesus and the young woman and the Bride. I realize that I still have intimacy issues and I believe that is why I am unable to go deeper with HIM. Any advice?

    • Cathy,
It appears you and I have a few things in common. The intimacy issue is HUGE with a lot of us because of living in this brutal world. It comes down to completely submitting our WILL to His, and that takes a trust I only thought I had. The harsh reality is that there are things we haven’t turned over completely to Him. I’ve attached a link to a post written by William that says it all:

      My Precious Beloved

  4. Thank you so much. Regarding fasting and obedience, Isaiah 58 expressly defines the kind of fasting God specifically wants from us. Like Fasting IS obedience IS fulfilling the law, IS neighborly love, IS love unto God.

    • Alida,
I’m so glad you mentioned Isaiah 58. So many of us think when we fast, we are doing God a favor, like we’ll get “brownie points” for it. “Oh, God, look at what I’m doing for you!”

But fasting is for us! We do it to put our flesh under submission, so we can hear and follow the ways of the Spirit of God! To loose the bonds of wickedness – to break yokes – to set captives free! God bless you, Alida!

  5. God bless you too Diana! Looking forward to the next part of this amazing information the LORD has blessed you with and for more of this manifestation of the work of the LORD in our lives! Glory to God!

  6. Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
    James 4:7‭-‬10 NKJV

    • Frank,
Awesome scriptures! We have to SUBMIT to God first – THEN the devil will flee from us!
      Blessings to you, Frank!

  7. But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him.”
    Acts 5:29‭-‬32 NKJV

    • Frank,
Interesting that “obedience” is the key. “To obey is better than sacrifice…” (1 Sam 15:22). …The Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey him.

  8. If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them. But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all. Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
    Colossians 3:1‭-‬17 NKJV

  9. We as the church in some ways are like a secret society. We are so feared by the devil and so misunderstood by the world. If the world could only know the truths we speak are from God’s own heart not to hurt or harm but to make alive. We are being tried as never before. But we will keep our eyes on the heavens and our joy will be exceedingly great.

    • Sharon,
We have no idea just how much God has set before us! I do not believe that our minds can fathom the glorious, loving things that the Father has on hold, just waiting to give to us, the Bride! And, yes, the world has no clue. It has been so deceived in order that those who are part of it do not see the truth!

  10. Obedience to the Lord is crucial because in the end, He is the only One that remains for He is the Alpha and the Omega. I love the fact that He knows we will fail at times and He keeps His hand under us to catch us when we fall.

“Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.” Psalm 37:24

    • Amen, Hope! He let me know in no uncertain terms that it was only through His Grace and Mercy that I made it through a particular situation recently. After failing miserably and feeling very downcast about it, He reached in, picked me up and set me back on course! He is truly our ALL IN ALL!
      God bless you!

      • Diana,
Praise God and thank you for enduring and for pressing through to put out this post! Truly we can do nothing without the grace and mercy of our God and our Lord Jesus Christ! He is so very faithful to bring us through as the Father purges and purifies our spirits, hearts and minds! He is preparing a Bride worthy to receive His Son, Jesus!

    • Hope,
You hit it precisely!! OBEDIENCE to the Lord is crucial. This will be the ONLY thing that will keep us preserved in the days to come! This is why the very heart of the Father and our coming Bridegroom is crying out to us to hear these words! It is no longer the distorted words that have been spoken to our ears to sound pleasing, but the truth is now flooding forth to set us free from those things of this world. God desires that we walk in a “new way” and that way is the way of obedience to the Spirit of the Living God!

  11. The Holy Spirit is a mystery to man. The Bride of Christ knows The Holy Spirit well. She fasts and she prays and in return the Holy Spirit manifests itself in her and through her. The Holy Spirit even groans within the Bride to give her peace and strength. The strength of The Bride is like No Other in the Earth. She is the apple of God’s eye and she will not fall.
