One night, the first week in February, all through the night I was given instructions by the Lord through the repetition of a dream.
In the dream, it was as if I was put into the role of a “detective” of some sort. I kept hearing the word “watch” and “observe.” I was sifting through papers and separating certain ones. I wasn’t shown the content of what I was looking at, or what I was supposed to be looking for. As I awoke, I heard the Holy Spirit say,
“Watch and Observe!”
“Gather the Evidence!”
Although I got up and wrote the words in my journal, I really didn’t know what the Lord was referring to. It was early in the morning just a couple days ago when God reminded me of what He’d said almost two months ago. I don’t believe it’s a coincidence I was told this close to the time the first Coronavirus case was reported here in the U.S.
As weeks passed, we watched and heard reports of the virus spreading to various states. But what impacted me the most was the rise of fear and panic I was observing, which I knew could soon prove more hazardous than any virus. I kept hearing in my spirit, “Fear Not!”
We’ve heard all kinds of conflicting stories of how the virus began, whether it was weaponized, the danger level, infection and fatality rates, etc. First, it was downplayed by most governments – including the U.S. But recently, that stance has changed, with most now warning of imminent danger. That’s when the warning bells began to go off in my spirit.
Everything began to take on a different tone. Steps taken to fight the virus went from quarantining the sick, which is the wise thing to do, to taking control and shutting down our entire economic system, and now military vehicles being transported all over the nation… At first, it only hit me as a huge overreach by the government – forcing closure of businesses, confining people to their homes, down to limiting how many can gather in groups – with some places no more than 10 people? Then churches began cancelling services…
Fear began to take hold of me at that point, and I knew I needed to get alone with God. After stilling myself and entering into communion with Him, the Holy Spirit began bringing much to my attention.
I was first shown we are being purposely distracted by all the confusion surrounding this situation. God told me it doesn’t matter whether the virus was weaponized, or whether the threat warrants the extreme measures being taken; it’s not important we know all the details, as we’re not to take anxious thought about it.
What we do need to know is it’s an orchestrated event by the evil one, meant to further his agenda. The need to examine the evidence was impressed upon me:
We know from scripture God’s not the author of confusion (1 Cor. 14:33), as well as the fact we’re not to fear. God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind (2 Tim. 1:7). But confusion, fear, and anxiety is a favorite tool of the devil used to overwhelm us, allowing him to cover us with a cloud of darkness.
Another clue is being given by various leaders around the world. Citizens are being advised to stop getting information from any source other than their government, that they will tell them the truth and provide the needed instructions to follow. DANGER FLAGS rose within my spirit when I heard this!!! We all know the goal of the devil is to ultimately create a system to subdue the masses – to take control of every aspect of our lives. But as far as being our source of truth, scripture tells us “Thy Word is truth!”
President Trump provided a big piece of evidence when he said “We’re fighting an invisible enemy.” The moment I heard him say this, the Holy Spirit confirmed what we are dealing with. We are not wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, the rulers of the darkness of this age, and against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. This points every one of us to what our stance should now be, which I will address below.
I’d like to address one more piece to consider:
The response of the Church
Most all churches have closed their doors in response to what started out as “requests” by the government to avoid “gatherings” of all kinds. Rest assured, as this situation continues, requests to completely stop church gatherings will evolve into demands; as threats of fines, or worse, have already begun against pastors refusing to shutter their doors.
Please understand, I’m not advocating one way over another of how one communes and worships with other believers, whether it be in a formal building, in private homes, or online. That’s not the issue, as we know the building is not the Church. Everything we do should be done according to our faith as led by the Spirit of God. But sadly, we’re observing many “Christians” displaying as much fear as unbelievers!
I’ve actually felt embarrassed seeing some of the messages being sent from pastors to their congregations as they bow to the dictates of this world. I’ve seen churches sending out messages on social media letting everyone know they are “following proper ‘social distancing’ guidelines” as their band plays onstage during online streaming services. Many are showing signs of fear because offerings are way down, and pleas for help are going out to pay the mortgages on their buildings! This is pointing towards something huge!
In the latter part of 2017, I was given two separate visions about what now is at the door (see links below). The Lord showed several things that will lead to the dividing of the church, and ensuing persecution. In these visions I saw sin being exposed in the church. I saw pastors falling, tears streaming down their face as they watched all they had built fall to the ground. Please read the links below for more about what to expect within the church in the coming days. Just know, everything not of God will fall.
The days ahead will be a continuation of the Book of Acts. We are Christ’s Ambassadors and represent the coming Kingdom of God! Jesus said we will do greater works than He did! (John 14:12). The people who know their God shall be strong, and do exploits! (Dan. 11:32).
Saints, this will not set well with the “religious leaders” who, just as in the days of Jesus, will be kowtowing to the “god” of this world. If we say and do as the Holy Spirit leads, there will be times it will conflict with the rules of man. For instance, can you imagine Jesus or the apostles practicing “social distancing”?
What’s happening has not caught God by surprise, and the devil can go no further than what God allows. The Lord’s given ample warning of what’s coming, and assures His people what the enemy means for our harm, God will use for our good.
Sheltering in place is a perfect example! Use this time to draw near to God and pray as never before. Pray the veil be removed from the eyes of the people. Pray for repentance! In His mercy, God’s allowing this shaking to awaken as many as will – inside – and outside the church. What’s happening now is only a taste of what’s to come, and I keep getting in my spirit, “Practice Run – Dress Rehearsal.”
Heads up, Saints! Wake up and see what time it is! Gather the evidence – it’s all around you.
May we use this time to draw ever closer to God. Prayer is one of the most powerful tools given to His people. I’m calling upon everyone reading this message to reach out as you can, to connect and pray with others within the Body of Christ. I’m believing as we do this, the Holy Spirit will connect us all together in a supernatural “Network” of God, which will soon encircle the planet!
Pray, Saints, Pray!!!
