Bride/Bridegroom

His Original Plan: From Eden to Gethsemane

Snake in Garden

The morning of November 20th, 2017, while discussing a revelation given to William Thompson regarding how faithful God is to finish the work He has begun, the Lord dropped the following into my spirit:

“My Bride is the second Eve!”

We had talked about how Jesus came as the second Adam to pay the penalty incurred by Adam and Eve’s decision to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  God had shown William (see below Note) the Bride was being prepared to walk in complete faith and surrender to the will of the Father, so that everything done in the Garden of Eden will be overcome.

Just as Jesus is referred to as the second, or last, Adam, so His Bride is the second Eve.  Because of the Father’s relentless love for us, He sent His Son to redeem mankind and take back the authority Adam had given to Satan.  Our Lord Jesus fulfilled all obedience when He submitted His will to the Father at the Garden of Gethsemane.

Now the Bride will become like Him to be united with Him.  The spiritual battle that took place in the Garden of Eden between the woman and the serpent is about to be re-enacted!

On November 10th, the Lord told me, Each of Mine will go through the Garden.”

The enemy will come once again in an attempt to seduce and beguile the woman.  Satan will tempt her with the same reasoning used in the original Garden, as well as what he used against Jesus.

The tempter will try to persuade her to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  In the midst of calamities as darkness descends, every attempt will be made to entice her to use human reasoning, to provide for her own needs and the desires of her flesh.

This time the garden will act as a purifying fire to the woman.  Some will be purged, purified and refined, as others succumb to the temptations of the flesh.  Out of this fire a remnant will emerge…

The Bride of Christ will emerge as she fastens her eyes upon Jesus, as Eve should have done with Adam.  She will completely surrender her will to the Father, as her Bridegroom did so long ago.  In this, the Bride will undo all the disobedience of Eve, choosing instead to partake of the Tree of Life!

Once her obedience is fulfilled, the Lord showed me the Bride will then be used as His instrument of righteousness on the earth, to punish all disobedience (see ‘You Will Be My Instruments of Righteousness’).

This punishment of disobedience will begin at the house of God, as the Bride cries out, “Choose you this day whom you will serve!”  Just as Jesus ruffled the feathers of the religious elites of His day, so will His Bride!

To Be Continued…

 Note from William:

The morning of November 20, 2017, I was shown everything has to come under submission to the will of the Father.  After that, EVERY thing will be added unto us.  We cannot yield to the things of this world: our situation, the storms of life, or our flesh.

The greatest battle that lies before us is the complete surrender of our will to the will of the Father.  Just as with Eve, the devil himself will come in with subtlety to beguile us, twisting the very words of God to pervert what God desires to do in us.  Our own will and reasoning will ever rail against our Beloved, attempting to move Him to prove His love for us with actions to ease our loneliness, discomfort, or pain.

Every area of our flesh and will must be surrendered to Him so what was done in the Garden of Eden will be overcome – to undo the disobedience!

This has been God’s will and His desire from the very beginning!  God created Adam and Eve so they would walk in complete faith to His will, so they could walk in the garden and commune with the Father!

As the Bride’s obedience is fulfilled, the Father will pour out His glory upon Her to prepare Her to be joined with the Bridegroom, so the two of them can be with the Father!

This is His original plan!  He never let go of that!   We are to walk and commune with Him forever!!

Wow! Awesome word! Praise God! 2 Timothy 2:3-4, 8-13, 19-26 NKJV 3 You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. 4 No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. 8 Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel, 9 for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. 10 Therefore I endure all things for the sake… Read more »

This is confirmation for me as well…I hadn’t been here in awhile as I have felt led to put away much of the online things I have been reading/listening to…Just yesterday, I was praying with the Father and saying how I could see that as Eve was hid in Adam, before he took her out of him, so he will do the same by taking the Bride out of Christ. So absolutely beautiful!!! It gave me a bit more revelation as to what it means to be “hidden with Christ in God” Col 3:3.
